Break and Entry

On February 6, 2004, I was served with a police warrent, and had my house searched. I had written a letter to the editor for the Fort Frances Times (local paper - FYI, this was never published ... not sure why) Just recently, I found the document on my old computer, and rescued it from oblivion. I still feel the same way about the issue ........

I feel as though I was raped! You walk into the door of your own house; only to find the hinges of your door have been removed earlier, and everything you own, and love, is scattered throughout the rest of your home. The thought is enough to make anyone sick to their stomach. To be invaded in such a way is more than an invasion of your privacy, it is an emotional rape of the senses! To know, that someone else was going through your personal belongings in search of a quick bit of larceny, is by far the most insecure feeling I have ever had!
